Finnish MNC Nokia has launched a budget smartphone in India and listed itself on Amazon and will be available for pre-booking July 7 onwards. It is called the Nokia G20. HMD Global said that they would be launching a budget smartphone this year and they have now, with the launch of the G20. The phone will be available on Nokia’s official store and Amazon.
In terms of the specifications, it will feature a 6.5 inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and resolution of 1600×720. The device is Powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, and available in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and there is also a 128GB version which is not available in India yet. Nokia G20 offers Android 11 operating system out of the box and the company has confirmed the smartphone will receive three years worth of updates.
With a whopping 5050mAh battery, Nokia G20 also supports USB-C 10W fast charging and it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner (within the power button) instead of in-display scanner for biometric verification. The company claims the device can last up to three days on a full charge.
For the camera, it features a triple rear camera set-up with a 48MP primary shooter, 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone features an 8MP front camera. The Nokia G20 is available in two different colour options: Glacier and Night.
The 4GB+62GB variant of Nokia G20 is available at Rs. 12,990 price and pre-booking has already begun from July 7, while it will be available for sale on Amazon from July 15. This device is currently available on Amazon and the company’s official website for pre-order. The company is offering discounts of Rs. 500 on Nokia G20 purchase from official website and discount Rs. 2099 if users purchase Nokia Power Earbuds Lite along with Nokia G20.
