OnePlus has finally announced the launch date for their latest OnePlus Nord 2 5G, which will be launched on 22nd July. OnePlus revealed this on Twitter. The smartphone will be launched on exactly 22nd July, 07:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
The smartphone has been listed on OnePlus’s website and Amazon India’s website. There are no reveals related to the phone price, but these websites have already listed them for future sales and reveal more details regarding the smartphone. It is assumed that the phone will be available for purchase for the consumers during Amazon’s Prime Day sale. Like its predecessor, OnePlus Nord 2 5G comes with a load of power and potential for the price it demands.

The OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to feature a 6.43-inch FHD AMOLED Display, with 90Hz refresh rate. It will come in two variants, one consisting of 8GB RAM & 128GB Storage and 12GB RAM & 256GB storage. It will also be capable of providing 5G connectivity.
Apart from that, it comes with a decently sized 4500mAh battery, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Moving on to the camera, it comes with a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP monochrome camera, and a punch-hole front camera of a sheer 32MP.
In addition, it also includes the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI processor. This particular processor chipset is exclusively made for the OnePlus Nord 2 and is much more advantageous and better than the regular MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Making the Nord 2 a powerhouse.
Some other features of the phone also include its AI photo enhancing capabilities that can optimize the colors and the effects of the photo depending on the photography style. Apart from that, the phone will be accompanied by OnePlus’s groundbreaking fast-charging capabilities of 30W/65W. The phone will come with Android 11 and will possibly get future OS updates.
The expected price of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G is set to be somewhere from Rs.25,000 to Rs.30,000. Putting it in the mid-range smartphones category. However, there are no official details from OnePlus regarding the price of the phone.
