The company executive of Poco India revealed the price and launch date of the upcoming Poco F3 GT ahead of its official launch. Poco has been teasing the country with specifications the phone is going to pack for Indian customers for a long time and this new leak conveys that the wait will be over soon. This upcoming smartphone by the company is going to be the second smartphone to be launched under the F series. The China-based smartphone making company has scheduled the launch of the Poco F3 GT in Indian markets on the 23rd of this month.
Poco previously said that the Poco F3 GT will be launched in the third quarter of the year in India with no data on the expected date. There was no news on a reliable launch date until the Country Director of Poco India, Anuj Sharma in a conversation with India Today revealed the scheduled date of the launch. He said that the launch of the Poco F3 GT will not occur on the same date as the OnePlus Nord 2. The launch of the smartphone will take place on the 23rd of July at noon and if you wish to attend the launch then visit Poco’s social media handles.
Anuj also suggested the price tag the Poco F3 GT can carry, he said that the phone might cost somewhere around 30,000 and might have some other variants but he continued and said that even the top variant will not exceed the price limit of 35,000. This price suggests that the Poco F3 GT is going to be the perfect rival for the OnePlus Nord 2 which has the same MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC processor. The phone will be available in two color options; Gunmetal Silver and Predator Black as notified by the company before.
The smartphone will be based on Android 11 and will have an HDR 10+ AMOLED display of 6.67 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The specifications are assumed to be similar to the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition which means that the phone will have up to 12GB of RAM paired with 256 GB of storage. It will consequently house a battery of 5,065mAh which will support 67W fast charging.
A side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the selfie camera in front will be 16-megapixel and on the rear side, the triple camera setup will have a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a wide-angle lens of 8-megapixel and a macro lens of 2 megapixels. The confirmation of the specs will be accomplished on the date of the launch itself.
