On 2nd June 2021, the South Korean multinational tech firm Samsung had released the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G into the international market. Now, the firm is expected to launch the forerunning smart gadget in India by next month. Ahead of its launch, the price of the Galaxy A22 5G has been tipped through 91mobiles. The tech blogging site claimed that the forthcoming device can be expected to be priced at Rs. 19,999.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G device is expected to feature a 6.6-inches FHD+ touchscreen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The smart gadget will measure 167.20 x 76.40 x 9.00 mm and weigh 203 grams. Grey, mint, violet, and white are the color options in which the flagship device will supposedly be available in the market. Galaxy A22 is supposed to draw its power from Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC processor and will run on Android 11. This upcoming Samsung handset is supposed to house a battery of 5000 mAh and supports proprietary fast charging. The device will reportedly be available with a configuration of 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage capacity which can be extended up to 1000GB with the help of a microSD card.

In terms of optics, the handset is expected to come incorporated with a triple rear camera which includes a 48-megapixel main sensor with (f/1.8) lens + ultra-wide 5-megapixel camera with (f/2.2) aperture + 2-megapixel camera with (f/2.4) lens. For selfies and video chats, the smartphone also sports an 8 MP front camera. For connectivity, the handset is incorporated with Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, and GPS and fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor are included as sensors in the smartphone.

On the other hand, The Samsung Galaxy A12s will be available in two storage configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage capacity which will cost EUR 180 (i.e. roughly Rs. 15,855), and 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage capacity which is priced at EUR 200. (i.e. roughly Rs. 17,700), as shared in a post on Twitter by the known leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore.
