Chinese company Xiaomi has finally launched its Redmi Note 10T 5G in the Indian market. This will be the very first smartphone of Redmi in India to support 5G networking. A point to note out is that the Redmi Note 10T launched last month in Russia, was not a 5G smartphone. Considering this, Redmi has made a considerable change for the India launch. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 5G handset official in March this year. However, for the Indian market launch, the handset will come with the name “Note 10T.”
The Redmi Note 10T 5G comes with a 6.5-inch LCD display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The phone display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and in addition to that, the company has claimed that the smartphone features AdaptiveSync (variable) refresh rates that will change depending on the applications running. The smartphone comes with a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and reading mode 3.0. For the smartphone’s display protection, it features corning Gorilla Glass v3. The Redmi Note 10T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and comes with LPDDR4x RAM supported by UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS.
Talking about the camera, the Redmi Note 10T sports a triple rear camera setup at the rear consisting of a 48MP primary, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. At the front, it sports an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
Coming to connectivity, the smartphone supports Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band WiFi, GPS, USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The smartphone is backed up by a 5,000mAh battery supported by 18W fast charging. Also, the handset comes with a 22.5W charger in the box.
Talking about the price, the Redmi Note 10T 5G is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 15,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. Moreover, Xiaomi will give a Rs 1,000 discount on the smartphone on paying from HDFC Bank. The smartphone will go on sale in the Indian market from July 26 and will come in four different colour options, Metallic Blue, Mint Green, Chromium White, and Graphite Black. It will be available on Amazon, Xiaomi’s official stores such as Mi.com, Mi Home stores and other partnered retailers.
